Shiny, dull, smooth, sparkly are all words we used to describe our rocks. Second grade has been observing and learning about igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. We got to observe, record and compare and contrast. It was fun using a hand held lens and we look forward to looking at our rocks under the microscope!

Embrace Blue Letters
September 12, 2018
Our class sharpened our writing skills by writing letters of encouragement to Police Officers. Sept. 15 has been marked as “Thank a Police Officer Day.” We worked with the writing process of how to write a letter, form a rough draft and finally publish a final copy. In the end we were able to mail our letters to the Police Department.
This is my 23rd year at SPSL. I feel so blessed to teach both First Reconciliation and First Communion. I have two children and enjoy reading biographies.
