Cory Sepich was educated in Catholic k-12 schools in Beaverton, Oregon. He earned his BA in Journalism from the University of Oregon in 2004, later earning his MAT from the University of Portland in 2008. He taught middle school Language Arts and Social Studies in public schools in Oregon between 2008 and 2012, moving to Omaha in 2012 when he taught fourth and sixth grades at St. Patrick’s School in Elkhorn, NE. In 2014 he earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Creighton University and began serving as principal at Sts. Peter and Paul School in Omaha. He anticipates defending his dissertation entitled “The Deepening of Catholic Identity through a Focus on Mission and School Culture: A Case Study on a Diocesan High School without a Religious Order” for his Ed.D in Educational Leadership at Creighton University in the summer of 2017.
 
Mr. Sepich enjoys Southern and Southwestern literature, fly fishing, and cheering on the Oregon Ducks and Liverpool Football Club. He’s a former soccer, basketball, and tennis player who remains physically active as much as he can. He currently lives in Omaha with his wife, Katie, and two-year old daughter, Frances.
