3rd Quarter Report Cards message from Principal Sepich on March 26, 2020

Hello SPSL Families,

I hope you are all safe and healthy. I also hope you are finding some time and routine to do some of the learning we have provided but also not at the expense of your family’s socioemotional needs and overall well being. During this time, we understand that with being in a health crisis it was necessary for our school to move to a distance learning model to protect the health and safety of those in our community while continuing to provide educational learning and experiences for your child(ren).  That being said, part of being safe and healthy is also taking care of not just the body, but a healthy mind and spirit. We trust your judgment as your children’s first and most important educators. So, if schoolwork is stressful at home, we support your decisions to take care of your family how you see fit.

In regards to 3rd quarter grades and report cards, this recent shift in our educational plans due to COVID-19 pushed our timeline back for the 3rd quarter and the date for sending report cards to families. Below is the information on how we will be handling 3rd quarter grades and report cards. For information on 4th quarter grading and report card procedures, please see the “Frequently Asked Questions” document I sent out earlier that is also on the daily announcements section of the school website.

For 3rd quarter report cards in 3rd – 8th grades:

For 2nd grade:

For Kindergarten and 1st grade:

Thank you for your help and support as we navigate this all together.

Peace and blessings,

Cory Sepich
