What beautiful weather we have been blessed with in the month of February! With this weather we were able to talk about shadows and students got to observe their shadows as they played outside. They also had a shadow puppet theater and traced their shadows. The last few weeks we have learned about dental health, healthy bodies, and healthy eating. Thank you to all the parents who sent in fruits and vegetables for us to taste test, it was a huge hit!! The dramatic play center has been turned into a vet clinic and it has been a popular center to play in! Next month we will celebrate Dr. Seuss, St. Patrick’s Day, and spring.

My name is Becky Galvan, and I am so excited to be teaching Prekindergarten at SPSL! When I am not teaching I like to spend time with my husband and 5 children. I also like to walk my dog, go camping, read a good book, and cheer on the Huskers!
