Students greatly benefit from practicing their math facts every night. Knowing math facts like their name allows students to conquer more challenging mathematical problems with greater confidence and ease. Using flash cards, marker boards, or math apps are great ways to practice whenever it fits into your busy day to day schedule. SPSL has provided a list of websites for students to practice their math facts. The ones from the top to about half way down are more 3rd grade level with the rest being more appropriate for older grades. Feel free to use these as practice if you would like.
I'm Miss Salter! I am from Sioux Falls, SD, and I have lived there my whole life before coming to Omaha! Before SPSL, I taught for Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools in Sioux Falls. I was a student in the school system for my entire K-12 schooling as well! I am so blessed to be a product and now an integral part of the incredible gift that is Catholic education. I attended college at Augustana University in Sioux Falls. I also played golf there, and I am still able to have golf be a large part of my identity through coaching, instruction, tournament management, and playing! I am an active person, and I bring high energy and positivity into my classroom. In 4A, learning is a never-ending and communal endeavor. We are constantly on the quest for mastery and looking for ways to support our classmates in their efforts to achieve that same success! I am SO excited to be a part of the incredible SPSL community!
