Cinco de Mayo will take place on May 11th, starting with the parade.

Representatives from the Latino School Enrollment Office of the Archdiocese will gather at Park at 8:00 a.m. to be ready to start the parade at 9:30 o’clock. The Check in is at B and 24th streets. The Parade ends in L and 24th streets.  The Drop-off point is E and 25th streets. (see the file attached).

SPSL families are invited to help represent our Catholic Schools! Students must wear uniforms.

¡Los invitamos a participar en el desfile del Cinco de Mayo!

Se llevará a cabo el 11 de mayo. Llegar puntualmente a las 8:00 para alinearnos e iniciar el desfile puntualmente.

El punto de reunión es en el Parque Highland (Highland Park). El punto de entrada es la calle B y la 24. El desfile termina en la calle L y la 24 y, ya que no habrá circulación vehicular, el punto donde se pueden bajar para integrarse al desfile en el Parque Highland, es la calle E y la 25. Busquen a Beatriz Arellanes y al personal de las Escuelas Católicas que estarán reservando un lugar para todos (sus teléfonos celulares son 531.301.7399 y 402.881.7963)

Todos los estudiantes deben vestir uniforme y pueden traer dulces; No está permitido arrojar los dulces a los espectadores.

Después del desfile, estaremos en nuestro stand por el resto del sábado y el domingo por la mañana.

At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!

*Anyone over 19 must be Safe Environment certified by the Archdiocese of Omaha.

Families, teachers, and staff are invited!

The St. Pius X Parish Festival will be held on Sunday, June 2. This is a really fun day for our parish/school community and we need your help to make it a success! SPSL families are invited to volunteer to work the game booths. Please sign up for a shift here. Many volunteers are needed! Adult family members, grandparents, college students and high schoolers are all welcome to help!

Another way to help is to purchase something from the Amazon Wish List to support the silent auction held at the Festival. You can also make a donation of: tickets to sporting events, plays, or other location activities; gift cards to your favorite local spots; Husker or Creighton apparel, or put a basket together yourself. Our parishes, St. Pius X and St. Leo, provide a significant portion of our school’s budget, so it’s important that school families help in their fundraising efforts. This is the parish’s biggest fundraiser and they are looking to raise $70,000 this year!
