The new school year is going by so fast!  We are learning so much and having a lot of fun doing it!

In Math, we are learning four-digit addition and subtraction.  Right now, we are learning about subtracting across zeros.

In Religion, we have been discussing showing love for others.

We have been reviewing nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and complete sentences in English.

We have a field trip coming up on October 15th.  You will receive a permission slip in the September 27th Friday folder.

This first week went by so fast!  We went over classroom and school rules, procedures, and rewards.  The students did a fun activity using toothpaste, which was messy, but the message of watching your words because they are hard to take back came through loud and clear.  We also made a mobile of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and who among our family and friends represented each gift.

I am looking forward to a great year!
