More Than a School, It's a Community.
What a week in 2C. We read about a girl who got invited to a party and it didn’t turn out so well. We talked a lot about nutrition this week and keeping our bodies healthy in science. In social studies we talked about how transportation, communication and recreation has changed through history. I religion we discussed the Sacraments, focusing on Baptism. We finished our math unit on number sense and began getting used to a new practice routine on Freckle.
In reading we discussed how families are different yet the same around the word
WELCOME TO SECOND GRADE
What a great start to the year. We have spent the first few day getting to know each other and learning how to work and play together. We are looking forward to a year full of fun and learning. We will be working hard to build up our reading and math skills.
This will be my 6th year teaching 2nd grade and my 10th year at St. Pius St. Leo School. When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with my family at the lake, playing put-put golf and making music with my friends. You're going to love 2nd grade.
