Cub Scouts provides fun activities, including many outdoors, that assist parents in strengthening character, good citizenship, and physical fitness in youth. Cub Scouts enjoy the program because it involves fun, and educational, activities with their friends.
Cub Scouts normally meet 2-3 times per month for about 1 hour. This includes 1 Pack meeting of all the Cub Scouts, which involves a fun activity (i.e. Halloween Party, Pinewood Derby, or swim party), most often on a Friday evening. Each Den, which is the Cub Scouts in one specific grade, meets 1-2 times per month for 1 hour at a time that the den leader determines works the best. The Den meetings normally involve working on badges and sometimes educational field trips.
