SPSL is a Catholic school educating students in Pre-K through 8th grade. Our Pre-K Program starts at age 3. Scroll down to learn more about our Pre-K offerings for 3- and 4-year-olds.

2024-25 Program Offerings

We are pleased to share the offerings for Pre-K for the 2024-25 school year. Review of applications will begin in February 2024. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a tour, please call the school office at 402-551-6667 or email [email protected].

3-Year-Old Half-Day

Meets Monday-Friday from 8:15am-11:15am.

Cost: $375/month + nonrefundable $75 registration fee due upon enrollment

4-Year-Old Half-Day

Meets Monday-Friday from 12:25pm-3:20pm. Optional PM Enrichment is available until 5:30pm.

Cost: $325/month + nonrefundable $75 registration fee due upon enrollment

PM Enrichment: Additional $190/month

4-Year-Old All-Day

Meets Monday-Friday from 8:15am-3:20pm. Optional AM Enrichment is available starting at 7:30am and/or PM Enrichment is available until 5:30pm.

Cost: $710/month + nonrefundable $100 registration fee due upon enrollment

AM Enrichment: Additional $70/month

PM Enrichment: Additional $190/month

Pre-K Payment Information for 2024-25

Pre-K Tuition will be paid through Blackbaud Tuition Management (BTM) for the 2024-25 school year. Note that Pre-K payments require a separate Blackbaud account from K-8 Blackbaud accounts.

BTM payment plan charges the following fees (not included in the above tuition rate):

  • $22 to enroll in the annual payment plan
  • $56 to enroll in the monthly payment plan

Pre-K tuition may be paid annually or monthly. Monthly payments are due on the 30th of the month from August through April.

Information about setting up a BTM account for Pre-K tuition will be shared with accepted families in the spring.

2023-24 Program Information

3-Year-Old Pre-K Program

Program Overview

– Meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings

– Class size of about 15 students

– Attend Library, Music, and P.E.

– Teacher and Teacher Assistant in every Pre-K classroom

– Work on social-emotional skills, motor skills, creativity, religion, reading, music, math, science, and more!

Requirements:

In order to attend the 3-year-old program, your child must be 3 years old on or before July 31st, 2023. Children are also required to be toilet trained. Parents must provide an up-to-date health form and immunization record that is to be completed by the child’s health care provider. Immunization records and birth certificate are required before the first day of school.

Class Size:

The maximum number of children in each section will be 15.

Each class has a teacher experienced in early childhood education and a full-time teacher assistant.

Schedule/Calendar:

Meets 2 days per week: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15am-11:15am

Follows the SPSL school calendar.

2023-24 Program Costs:

$150 per month + $50 non-refundable registration fee

Supplies & Clothing

Pre-K students bring a backpack every day.  The backpack is used to send a daily folder home with important reminders and schoolwork. Pre-K students do not wear uniforms.

4-Year-Old Pre-K Program

Program Overview

– Three options catering to your family’s needs and schedule, including half-day and full-day options

– Class size of about 15-21 students

– Teacher and Teacher Assistant in every Pre-K classroom

– Attend Library, Music, and P.E.

– All-Day Pre-K eats lunch in the cafeteria and has a rest/nap time every day

– Work on social-emotional skills, motor skills, creativity, religion, reading, music, math, science, and more!

Requirements:

In order to attend the 4 Year Old Program, your child must be 4 years old on or before July 31st, 2023. Children are also required to be toilet trained. Parents must provide an up to date health form and immunization record, which is to be completed by the child’s health care provider. Immunization records and birth certificate are required before the first day of school.

Enrichment Time:

Many families need early drop-off and/or late pick-up to accommodate work schedules and other responsibilities. We offer AM and PM Enrichment for Pre-K students for an additional charge.

AM Enrichment meets before school starting at 7:30am, and PM Enrichment meets after dismissal until 5:30pm. The enrichment of the academic program is held in room KD.  The room is managed by teacher assistants with a ratio of adults to children will be 1:10. Enrichment activities includes practicing social skills, reinforcing academic skills taught in the academic class, story time, play time, and rest time.

5-Day PM Program: Meets 5 days per week: M-F from 12:25-3:20pm

5-Day All-Day Program: Meets 5 days per week: M-F from 8:15am-3:20pm

There is an option for Early Start before school from 7:30am and/or PM Enrichment after dismissal until 5:30pm
