ABOUT

SPSL is enrolled in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. We hold two Spelling Bees, one for 5th – 6th graders and one for 7th – 8th graders, which are preliminary competitions for the Metro Catholic Spelling Bee. All 5th – 8th grade homeroom students participate in a classroom bee to find the winner and runner up. The winners will then compete in a bee with parents, family, and classmates in attendance in the Parish Center during Catholic Schools Week.
