Tuition for Kindergarten through 8th grade is $3,925 per student for the 2024-25 school year. This tuition price includes the registration fee.
The actual cost to educate each student at SPSL is $7,572 for the 2024-25 school year. St. Pius X / St. Leo School provides a subsidy of $3,647 to every student (48% of the total cost to educate each student). This subsidy is funded by the strong support of St. Pius X and St. Leo the Great Parishes, as well as fundraising and gifts from school parents and other generous benefactors in our school community.
Bridge the Gap Initiative
To support the cost to educate each student, St. Pius X / St. Leo School families are asked to participate in the Bridge the Gap initiative, or contribute through their Sunday and Holy Day giving to make up the difference between the tuition price and the cost to educate. Both school and parish families are asked to consider contributing to the Bridge the Gap initiative. You may make your gift here.
Tuition Assistance
There are three sources of tuition assistance available for students in K-8 who have been accepted to SPSL: Opportunity Scholarships of Nebraska (“OSN”), Children’s Scholarship Fund (“CSF”), and SPSL Tuition Assistance (“FAIR”). Please note that we do not have tuition assistance available for Pre-K.
Opportunity Scholarships of Nebraska (OSN): To be eligible for a scholarship through Opportunity Scholarship of Nebraska, you must have a student entering Kindergarten or 9th Grade, or transferring into any grade K-12 from a public school. Families with a student accepted at SPSL for the 2024-25 school year who believe they may be eligible may contact [email protected] for an application. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2024. Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF): Applications for the 2024-25 school year are open until Friday, May 3, 2024.
Financial Aid Independent Review (FAIR): Applications for the 2024-25 school year are open until Friday, May 3, 2024.

Pre-K Payment Information for 2024-25
Pre-K Tuition will also be paid through Blackbaud Tuition Management (BTM) for the 2024-25 school year. Note that Pre-K payments require a separate Blackbaud account from K-8 Blackbaud accounts.
