Do you have an upcoming Pre-K or Kindergarten student? Join St. Pius X / St. Leo School for Roundup. You’ll hear from our principal, meet our teachers, learn about our programs, and visit our Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms.

Please bring your incoming Kindergarten students; they will go to one of our Kindergarten rooms during the presentation for parents to work on an activity with our Teacher Assistants.

Attendance for Pre-K students is optional. If they attend, Pre-K students can play in one of our Pre-K rooms during the parent presentation. Our TAs and parent volunteers will supervise.

Please enter through the east doors of the school, located near St. Pius X Church. Parking is available in the east church lot, and in the lot across 69th St.

When should I apply for Pre-K or Kindergarten at SPSL?

Applications will be reviewed after Round-Up on January 25, 2025. We encourage you to apply no later than January 31, 2025, as spots fill fast!  Enrollment priority is given to active parishioners of St. Pius X and St. Leo the Great and current families. Acceptance letters are typically sent in early March.

What is the tuition at SPSL?

K-8 tuition for the 2024-25 school year is $3,925 per student. The tuition rate for the 2025-26 school year for K-8 students will be finalized in late February, 2025.  For more information, visit our Financial page.

Please note that tuition assistance is only available for K-8. Application instructions for Children’s Scholarship Fund and FAIR tuition assistance will be added to the Financial page in February.

How old does my child need to be to start at SPSL?

Below are age requirements for Pre-K and Kindergarten:

• 3-year-old Pre-K: Must be 3 years old by July 31, 2025
• 4-year-old Pre-K: Must be 4 years old by July 31, 2025
• Kindergarten: Must be 5 years old by July 31, 2025 (state of Nebraska requirement)
