The third grade students will focus on living things, plants, seeds, animal classification, animal life cycles, animal adaptations, scientific inquiry, nature of science, technology, engineering and design, motion and stability: forces and interactions, magnets, from molecules to organisms: structures and processes, life cycles, ecosystems, some animals form groups, heredity: inheritance and variation of traits in plants and animals, biological evolution: unity and diversity, fossils, varying characteristics within the same species, habitats, earth’s systems, weather, interpreting maps of Earth’s features, earth and human activity, science in environmental and personal perspectives.

Hello! Welcome to 3B. I am so happy to be returning to St. Pius X / St. Leo School for another year as a third grade teacher. I have taught a variety of grade levels in the Archdiocese of Omaha Catholic schools since 1992. Each year is a new adventure, and I can’t wait to get to know each one of you.
